Federal Mfg.’s New Facility in Pewaukee, Wisconsin Nears Completion
Aug 19, 2014MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Federal Mfg., powered by ProMach, announced today that office personnel will move from the company’s Walker’s Point neighborhood plant in Milwaukee to its new 78,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday, August 25. The company anticipates that the complete move of all manufacturing personnel and equipment to the new building will be finished on or before October 31.
Federal Mfg. has been designing and manufacturing liquid filling and capping machines for the dairy, juice, specialty drink, chemical, coatings, and pharmaceutical industries in Milwaukee for the past 65 years. The company is the largest supplier of dairy filling equipment in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world. With national and international sales growing and the need for more space and a revamped and streamlined manufacturing process paramount, parent company ProMach invested in the design and construction of the facility.
At the new facility, which is located in the RidgeView Corporate Park, raw materials will enter the plant at one end and finished filling machines will be shipped to customers at the other. The new plant has approximately 33 percent more space and an improved floor plan, allowing Federal Mfg. to more effectively integrate filling machines with associated equipment, primarily from sister divisions Zalkin and Fowler Products, and to perform factory acceptance testing of complete rinsing, filling, and capping systems.
Federal Mfg.’s telephone numbers will remain the same. For more information about Federal’s fillers and cappers, including the new sanitary pressure/gravity filler, call 1-855-371-4639 and visit www.FederalMfg.com.
